2019 Honda Passport in McKinney

The All-New 2019 Honda Passport Is More Than You Expect

We're thrilled to welcome the all-new 2019 Honda Passport SUV, a new crossover that joins the Honda lineup in-between the compact Honda CR-V and the midsize Honda Pilot. This two-row SUV offers expansive cargo room and a powerful engine, with more room to move than the smaller compact crossover but a slightly smaller footprint than the large family SUV. Trim levels for the new model include the Passport Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite.

An Interior That's Rugged But Refined

The large-and-in-charge 2019 Passport boasts a class-leading 157.1 cubic feet of total interior volume, with nearly 78.0 cubic feet of cargo space available behind the first row of seats--just fold the one-touch 60/40 split rear row down and bring all of your gear along. Top trims offer luxury features like ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. This is exactly what drivers have been looking for.

Is the Honda Passport Back?

Yes--after a long hiatus, the Passport nameplate is back in the Honda stable. But, this all-new model is a far cry from the boxy and quirky body-on-frame SUV that was cruising around in the late 90s. The name is the same, but everything else is different, from the overall look and design to the capability. The original Passport was a truck-like SUV that could dominate rocky terrain but wasn't particularly comfortable to drive. The new model is stylish, sleek, and smooth.

Engine and Performance

The new upcoming 2019 Honda Passport uses modern Honda technologies like i-VTM4 All-Wheel Drive, a unibody frame, the brand's smooth 9-speed automatic transmission, and an advanced V6 engine to offer the power and capability that you need with a lot more comfort for everyday driving.

Safety Features and Connected Tech

Every new Honda Passport model will offer Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Collision Mitigation Braking System through a standard Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration technologies are available, along with wireless charging features and mobile hotspot capabilities.
